Helping Malvika’s family ease financial pressure so her parents can spend every precious moment with their little girl.
Whitianga, Waikato
Malvika is only five months old, and she is facing a rare and aggressive kidney tumour.
She is the much–loved only child of a devoted mum and dad who have poured every part of themselves into caring for their precious girl. Her mother is by her side every moment, and her father works full time - plus extra hours - just to keep the family afloat. This leaves him very little time to spend with his baby daughter during the most important days of her little life.
This is an unimaginably hard journey for any parent. Watching their tiny girl endure so much, so soon, is heartbreaking. What this family needs most is time together - time to hold her, love her, comfort her, and simply be with her.
With deep respect for their privacy and courage, the Team at Whitianga Community Services Trust have been given the honour of helping create this page. Although the family has been reluctant to accept support, they have agreed, knowing that every moment with Malvika is precious.
Due to her age and the nature of her cancer, Malvika’s life expectancy is heartbreakingly short.
This fund will help ease the crushing financial pressures of the mortgage and everyday living costs so that her dad can step back from work and spend this irreplaceable time with his daughter and wife.
No family should have to choose between making ends meet and being together.
Your kindness will give them the gift of time - the most precious gift of all.
Thank you from Malvika and her family 💖

Her Time Was Short, Her Impact Was Deep , it is with a very heavy heart our baby girl has passed 15 December 2025
Dear supporters,
With heavy hearts, the Whitianga Community Services Trust shares that beautiful Malvika has since passed away. Her life, though tragically short, touched many. We are deeply grateful for the kindness and generosity shown through this Givealittle fundraiser so far.
The family’s circumstances have changed, and there remain ongoing financial pressures related to medical bills, funeral/memorial costs, and supporting her parents during this devastating time.
If you are able to continue supporting the family through this period, any donation- big or small- will make a meaningful difference.
We will continue to update this page with any further news and the Trust is here to help guide and support the whanau.
Thank you sincerely for your compassion and aroha.
On behalf of Whitianga Community Services Trust and Malvikas family we thank you ❤️🩷
