Given the hardship the finance company should leave us alone.Because when my wife comes out of hospital there is no home for her and us.
Manawatu / Whanganui
We are desperate. Our home is up for mortgagee auction 03rd December. It was postponed on the 2nd November to allow us more time to raise the money. Our story starts 10 years ago when we borrowed money from a finance company to help a third party buy a small garage and business. That was in 2007. We used our home and cars as security and personal Guaranty. 18months in NZ economy took a tumble and work stopped overnight. He was advised by a lawyer to go bankrupt. We lost our cars but managed to retain our home, only because the 1st mortgagee refused to let them sell because there was not enough equity in it.The finance company then sold the garage and received $30000 for it.Eight years later the finance company wants $8000 to clear the security and personal guarantees from our home.If not paid by 03rd December 2018 the mortgagee auction will continue.I am partly disabled with Parkinson`s Disease and lived with it for 54 years. Right now my darling wife of 36 years is in hospital with severe kidney failure, and if there is no donor kidney available she will die in less than 18 months. She is only 54.Please somebody help us out.Alana is on Dialysis but really struggles to cope with it as depression and the fact of loosing our home is to hard for her.We cannot afford any finance as we have the first mortgage to the Paraplegic and Physically Disabled Foundation on our home. Alana has to have proper food and not the budget rubbish that we are forced to buy.Rental homes don`t have wheelchair access or large entry toilets like our home does.It was an old Church but its our home. Also our home is a safe haven for our cats as well as the ones that come through the open cat door at anytime as they are hungry and have some food and a cuddle. You can`t have a cat in a rental home.
The money will be used to pay the finance company and clear the securities.
