Mother and young daughter both get cancer diagnosis within a week of each other

Paige went into hospital a couple of weeks ago for stomach pain and had her appendix removed. When the lab dissected it and tested it they found 2 very large carcinoid tumours and diagnosed her with Neuroendocrine cancer. With further testing they have discovered this was not only localised to her appendix and had spread to other organs.

Paige is a loving and caring 15 year old year 11 student at massey high school and her dream is to be a nurse so she could help other people. The cancer is very rare and there is not a lot of doctors in New Zealand that are aware or specialise in this type of cancer. Paige has been unwell with symptoms for 5-7 years but always misdiagnosed as often happens with this type of cancer. Her Mum Steph has not only had to resign from her job to stay at home and look after her and with 3 other young children, she was also recently diagnosed with Cervical Cancer. Which has put not only a financial strain but also a mental strain too. So if we can help financially in anyway to help relieve some of the burdon this family is going through.
