Movement for Archie | Raising funds for Cerebral Palsy physical therapy costs so Archie can move like you too
Kerikeri, Northland
Archie is a one year old, Kerikeri local who, after a long labour was born not breathing with no heart rate. He was worked on for twenty minutes before he was successfully intubated. The time without oxygen caused significant injury to Archie's brain.
There is so much uncertainty around what Archie will and won't be able to do, but what we know for sure is that this boy is a warrior. He is full of determination and courage, he brings his family and those around him unparalleled joy.
However, we do know that Archie is likely to have Cerebral Palsy, and physical therapy in the first few years of his life is critical for him to meet movement milestones like crawling and walking. Sadly, physical therapy is not currently funded.
All funds raised from #movementforarchie will go towards physical therapy costs. This wee boy wants to walk, he will walk and we would love for you to join us in helping him get there.
Please see our previous page here https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/archie-toms-treatment-fund
Archie and his family are loving members of our Kerikeri community, they need our support to give their boy his best chance for a life of movement.
Physical Therapy and associated expenses. Funds will be paid to Archie's mother, Alice.
Thank you, thank you, thank you 27 November 2024
