Mo ALWAYS puts himself ahead of others and needs our help. Mo would never ask anyone for anything. So I'm asking for him.
Nationwide
Our friend, Mohammed was victim to the hit and run during which police Constable Matthew Hunt succumbed on Friday the 19th of June 2020. You could not ask for a more caring, humble individual than Mo who now, due to the reckless actions of another, faces a tough recovery ahead both physically and emotionally.
Unfortunately Mo's wife, 12 year old son and 2 year old daughter are all affected by the horrific events and the usually supportive family unit are now all trying to come to grips with the events that occurred after making New Zealand their home and safe haven.
Money does not heal, but Mo is a hard working man, caring husband and loving father, and his mountain has just become infinitely harder to scale with the trauma they have been victim to.
We're hoping that the generosity of New Zealanders will help ease some of the financial strain Mo and his family will face as a consequence of being injured.
Your kindness will help greatly!
Mohammed is on of our ex Team members.
The funds will go to household expenses such as groceries, bills and to back-fill what ACC is unlikely to be able to cover. Surplus to requirements will be donated to the NZ Police Association which has a fund set up in the name of Constable Hunt.
