After 25 years of wanting to be a teacher, I have finally achieved that goal! Now I would like to teach on the other side of the world.
Waikato
I have lived in New Zealand for most of my (almost) 32 years of life, having spent 1.5 of those years in Australia. During 2019, I completed the Graduate Diploma of Teaching and graduating in April 2020. I also have a Bachelor in Media Arts, Commercial Music and graduated in 2017, where I was also volunteering in the theatre throughout all of the 5 years I have studied and spent time with people who have inspired and encouraged me to be who I am.
My life felt like it had been a constant cycle of trying to find my purpose, happiness, and financial security and I have spent the past year focusing on myself and my own wellbeing, which has been very challenging and extremely rewarding. In saying that, I have decided to take a leap of faith and move to the other side of the world to pursue my dream of being a teacher and helping children believe in themselves and their passions.
I aim to work hard to save as much as I can over the next 7 months and would love some help and support to make this happen as I don't want to put my dreams off any longer!

If I am unable to get a sponsorship/job over in the UK by early June 2020 (the earliest I can apply for a Visa), I will look into moving to Australia and start teaching over there.
