We’re moving... and we could use a helping hand

Lower Hutt, Wellington

We're excited to announce that the Foodbank is moving to a new Lower Hutt location!

We've outgrown our current premises, so we've made the decision to move to another location to future-proof the services we offer our community.

Our new location on High Street offers more space and security for our day-to-day operations:

✅ Collecting food donations

✅ Preparing food

✅ Packaging food

✅ Creating food parcels of various sizes

✅ Distributing food parcels to the community

We're extremely grateful to have found a new location, but we still need a bit of a helping hand to make it a reality - we're seeking donations to help fund the relocation costs, and to purchase some much-needed items for the new space.

Please consider donating to the Lower Hutt Foodbank via this Givealittle page, or contact nadine@lowerhuttfoodbank.org.nz to enquire about our corporate sponsorship programme.

About us

The Lower Hutt Community Foodbank has been responding to people's immediate needs through the provision of free emergency food parcels since 1986.

Use of funds

We're seeking donations to help fund the relocation costs, and to purchase some much-needed items for the new space. Any excess funds will be put towards food parcels.
