Lets help relieve pressure to this awesome family in their time of need. A little help goes a long way

Bay of Plenty

On Wednesday the 2nd of December Aaron Warren was moving his cattle to the yards for an arriving buyer.

One of the steers unexpectedly went down on its knees in front of him. Aaron had just accelerated to move it and didnt have time to stop . This catapulted him and his quadbike over the cow.

The quadbike came down on Aaron seriously crushing him.

Aaron broke his collarbone in two places , has 38 breaks to his ribcage including a punctured lung.

Fortunately a farm worker was nearby or Aaron would have bled to death from the injuries.

Aaron has had major surgery receiving four steel plates in his chest. The recovery is long and intense and he will not be able to resume his work for at least 6 months

Aaron is one tough cowboy but has been reduced to tears feeling very helpless to his family and animals he passionately cares about.

Family and friends are stepping in to help manage the farm but with the main man off the scene,

finances and income have come to a sudden standstill .They depend on selling stock and everything has to be put on hold. They are feeling extremely stressed .

The year has been difficult already and this accident is compounding financial pressure .

Aaron and Nicky admit that a little help feels uncomfortable but they could honestly do with it.

Everyone that knows and loves this family desperately want to help in anyway so this page has been set up to provide the best practical help needed .

All donations will go directly to Aaron and Nicky

PS The steer is fine 👍

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
