Mt Eden - Help us prevent traffic chaos
We need to pay for a traffic engineering report to try and mitigate some of the effects of a large development on Dominion Rd, Mt Eden

The huge development proposed at 360 Dominion Rd, 88 Prospect Tce and 113 Grange Rd, Mt Eden consists of a large New World supermarket, 122 apartments, shops, and offices. The traffic generated will imperil road safety and cause more traffic delays on Dominion Road and surrounding streets.
This has been confirmed by the traffic assessment the developer has submitted to the Environmental Protection Authority:
"...there will be inevitable increases in congestion and delays on the road network during the peak period because of the development..."
Eden We Love Inc. (a group of concerned Mt Eden residents) has commissioned a specialist traffic engineering report, which we plan to submit to the Environmental Protection Authority in order to get a better outcome for road users and the community.
We still need to raise $4000 to pay for the report. Any donation gratefully received.
A copy of the traffic engineering report will be available to everyone who contributes.

Use of funds
The money will be spent on the traffic engineering report. In the event we do not meet the goal and cannot use funds for this purpose, they will be donated to Brake NZ.
