Help provide the best ongoing care for an abandoned mother and her puppies.
Bay of Plenty
Mumma (that’s what we’ve called her) was seen wandering the streets. Heavily pregnant and confused. A member of public ties her to a post to see if her owners found her in case she was lost but nobody came. So she was taken to the nearest vets.
We couldn’t bear the thought of her giving birth, to who knows how many puppies, in a clinical setting or the pound. So we have taken her in to our foster care.
We already have 3 other foster dogs in our care so we want to ensure we can provide everything this girl also needs to raise her puppies safely, healthily and successfully.
We’re providing a loving, stable, experienced home where the puppies will receive all they need to be well adjusted for their future lives.
But we need your help to do the best job we can in raising them.
Veterinary costs, bedding supplies, food and toys. Any extra will go towards supporting our other foster dogs.
They made it to 2 weeks of age - yay! 13 June 2021
The puppies have now doubled in size and all have made it to the two week mark. They are starting to be more mobile, their eyes are opening and they can now hear new sounds. It's time to start getting them gradually exposed to new sights, sounds and smells.
Thank you so much, your kind words mean a lot for us!
