Helping mum kick this to the curve in anyway we can
Wellington
For the past five years, my family has faced significant health challenges with this one disease.
In 2020, my younger sister, Ajah, was diagnosed with bone cancer. This diagnosis led to the discovery of a genetic mutation, Li-Fraumeni syndrome, which we inherited from our mother, Sharon.
Consequently, my sister, mother, and I have undergone regular screenings. These screenings revealed that my mother had breast cancer, which was successfully treated with surgery. However, two years later, she was diagnosed with kidney cancer, requiring another surgery to remove one of her kidneys.
Unfortunately, this year, she received a third diagnosis of secondary kidney cancer, which has spread to her lungs. This time, the cancer is more advanced and widespread, making surgical removal unfeasible. My mother has begun chemotherapy to manage the stage four lung cancer.
My mother is deeply appreciative of the ongoing support and love she has received, especially during this difficult time. She is determined to fight this with unwavering strength ❤️

Money will be used for bills transport and maybe a little bit of fun to create some memories
