Mums Chopper Ride over Glaciers

A little over a year ago my mother was diagnosed with Lung Cancer this turned our world upside down. she began radiation and chemo how cruel on the body that is I didn't get to take her to her treatment and haven't had much time to spend with her due to alot of reasons including my on family of 4 kids.

We thought they had got the tumour with the radiation and chemo but sadly mum began feeling unwell again a few months back and went to doctors to find out the cancer has returned and possibly spread. The doctors have given her a rough time frame of 6-12 months.

I live on the West Coast and my mother lives on the East Coast she is going to be coming to spend soe time with myself and my family and we are going to be doing a few things off her bucket list one being to see the Glaciers. The best way to see the glaciers is by chopper and with her lack of mobility also the easiet so I have setup this page to help raise the money to get a chopper ride for her and to help make an amazing memory with my mother possibly for the last time.

The photo attached was the last photo we have together and it was taken when I took her to Ronan Keating in ChCh 2010 I would really love to make more memories with her before it is to late x
