My 50th Birthday Celebration - Make My Dream a Reality

Dear Donor,

My Dream is to create clothing and fabric/yarn based 2D and 3D sculpture (also incorporating all three in one project!) I'm lacking some essential items to be able to create anything I can.

My background is in Visual Arts, Theatre, Music, and TV production, but over the past few years I've been accumulating knowledge in Fibre Arts (I've been a member of Balclutha Creative Fibre) and have been reading voraciously!

Behind the scenes in my life, I've constantly struggled with various forms of mental illness (I was born into a dysfunctional family) and I didn't realise how much the physical and emotional scarring had negatively influenced me, until I suffered a bad shoulder injury and had to resign from work as a Commercial Cleaner. I sought help from a therapist to help me understand why I had injured myself working to try to better myself. Part of my therapy is to unlock my hopes and dreams.

So if you'd like to help me fulfil the next chapter of my life (I can't return to cleaning because I still have the injury) then this is what I need to launch my label "Of Cats & Unicorns"...there's a Face Book page of the same name, if you'd like to check out what I've already done, my Face Book name is 'Kez Bizarre'.
