My beautiful mum has a terminal cancer diagnosis, please help me to reunite her with her grandsons

My beautiful mum, my bestest friend, was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive cancer over a year ago.

She underwent surgery, we had hoped she would be okay, we were told it could return and tragically it has. This time around, it meant mum had to undergo the strongest chemotherapy to try and combat it, as she had lesions in her liver and lungs. My mum was so brave and resilient and did her best to fight this cancer but this chemotherapy was absolutely brutal. It resulted in mum being hospitalised with life threatening sepsis and this has since left her with severe complications from the chemo leaving her immobile. She has only recently been discharged from hospital and we were terrified we would lose her to sepsis.

My mum and my dad had hoped to return to New Zealand, at the beginning of this year, the plan being that mum would complete 6 rounds of chemotherapy and be well enough to fly out to visit. Tragically her 4th round of chemotherapy led to her being hospitalised and her most recent CT scan showed that the chemotherapy should have worked but it hasn’t and the cancer has continued to grow and spread in her liver. Without treatment, my beautiful mum now has terminal cancer and a 6 month life expectancy.

she is not well enough to fly to New Zealand to visit her grandsons Xavier and Ezra. She loves them so very much.

Please could you help me raise funds to organise a flight for my boys and myself to visit their beloved nanny in the UK. I am heartbroken to write this.
