My bed is falling apart

I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. Unfortunately, that means I spend more time in bed than I'd like 😭 So a decent bed is absolutely crucial for me and mine is falling apart. I've had it since 2004-ish. It's had a pretty good run. But the springs are coming up through the mattress and scratching and scraping me in my already poor sleep. If I can't sleep, then I can't function. It's a horrible cycle.

I've asked WINZ for help and they ghosted me 😭 I have an agent but it's exhausting having to jump through hoops.

I've found a mattress that suits my needs and I'm going to build a bed base that works for me (I love constructing and building things, it helps keep my brain active). The bed base I can finance myself but I'm struggling with the mattress. The mattress is $410.95 (including delivery). It's hypoallergenic, which is super important because I have allergies to everything. It has a cool gel layer - I get severe night sweats, which then give me nasty rashes, so this will help a lot. It also has posture support which is crucial for both my fibromyalgia and my sciatic (back) problems.
