I'm raising funds to run the 30sports1day event and to develop the H5 Corporate Health Competition.
Bay of Plenty
My mission is to do 30 sports in 1 day, to raise funds for the event and to develop the H5 Corporate Health Competition.
There are 3 million overweight or obese NZers. Current health suggestions don't work.
I want to encourage people to take up sport by developing a national health competition.
60% of NZers are either overweight or obese - it is costing the country over $300 m a year. This should be $0 - it is fully preventable.
I've put several thousand $$ and 3 months work into the project so far - I'd appreciate any donations you can give. All donations spent wisely - I have a marketing degree and half an accounting degree and have an organizing team for the event.
I've reduced the target to $5,000 - the local council have generously donated 2 venues.
The long term objective is the successful introduction of the H5 Corporate Health Competition, a yearly publicly published company health rating system, as a non-profit organisation.
I'm working on strategy development for a pre-launch on event day in Taupo on 17 Feb 18.
In the meanwhile I'm busy organizing the event and training (at least 3 times a week) - see my blog on facebook and the webpage.
Thanks for support from: Taupo District Council, Uptake, Motott, Bruce McLaren Motorsport Park, Ian Chamberlain Joinery, friends.
Be happy and healthy,
Thanks.
30 sports event expenses including: media promotions, event sport fees (if not donated), video production, support on the day, after event function, other incidentals.
