We are seeking URGENT help for our mother, who we are fighting with everything we have for to find medicine that will keep her with us.

The medication she urgently needs is Daratumumab that is not funded in New Zealand and costs $250,000 a year. The other option is CAR-T found in China that can cost between $150,000 - $300,000. These drugs are so close to being funded in NZ we just need enough to get her enough until then

Our family is very close, and this situation is the worst possible scenario for us. Our mother is the foundation of our family—she listens, is nonjudgmental, and provides unwavering support through life's challenges. I wish everyone could meet her and experience her warmth and kindness.

Maureen has been battling Multiple Myeloma for 7 years and has been fighting successfully with the available government-funded treatments and her strong will to live.

There are currently 3,000+ other families affected by Multiple Myeloma every year, who are praying the government will one day fund the treatment available. Please share our story as we need to prioritise human life and the well-being of our families. Stay strong.

Use of funds

The money will be spent on treatment called Daratumumab for Multiple Myeloma cancer which is unfunded in NZ. With the cost at more than $100k per year, Maureen needs your help!
