Support to help cover our Mother's unfunded and critical cancer treatment

We are seeking help for our mother, who has just received devastating news from her doctor: she has only 18 months to live.
The medication she urgently needs, Daratumumab, is not funded in New Zealand and costs $100,000. This treatment is essential for her to stay with us for as long as possible.
Our family is very close, and this situation is the worst possible scenario for us. Our mother is the foundation of our family—she listens, is nonjudgmental, and provides unwavering support through life's challenges. I wish everyone could meet her and experience her warmth and kindness.
Maureen has been battling Multiple Myeloma for 7 years and has been fighting successfully with government-funded treatments and her strong will to live.
**To the 3,000+ other families affected by Multiple Myeloma, my recent email to over 200 government, media, and health professionals was not just about my mother; it was for all of you. We need to prioritize human life and the well-being of our families. Stay strong.
