Please help a special needs kitten and his human Mumma to find hope for better quality of life moving forward.
Canterbury
I took in an abandoned, neglected, young pregnant cat early this year, and while I gave it everything I had to protect and take care of her and the babies in the two weeks before she gave birth, it simply wasn't enough... She passed away along with five of her six kittens.
In a desperate attempt to save the remaining baby, I found him another nursing Mum to help him grow up big and strong since he was wasting away being hand fed.
Fast forward 5 months and he has started to have seizures... I have had the vet run every possible test I can, all coming up healthy and normal despite a strained immune system... All that's left to try is an MRI of his brain, which is going to cost me just under $3500...
I have managed the financial side of things myself up until this point, but now I have run out of savings and am desperate for answers...
He is a happy, hilarious and loving kitten and I promised his Mum that since I couldn't give her a good life, that I would do so for her remaining son... I want this test to see whether he has a chance at a long and healthy life, or whether I need to focus on making him as comfortable as I can for the time he may have left.
So please... From the bottom of my heart, help me to help my baby Ptera. We both deserve to know what lies in store for us, so that we can plan the best approach and keep suffering and struggle to a minimum.
This lovable little fur goblin is one of my best friends. He brings so much love, laughter and joy into my life with his cuddlebug nature and crazy wobble goblin antics! We cuddle each other to sleep every night and he waits for me after work...
A brain MRI to determine the cause of seizures and to see whether or not it is a progressive condition.
