Help me get to Costa Rica for student exchange

My name is Georgia Goldsworthy I am 16 years old I attend Melville High School, Hamilton and I have recently been accepted to go onto an exchange to Costa Rica ! The exchange will be for the whole year and is going to cost me $12,999. I am leaving in February 2016 so I need to work hard for my funding. I am extremely excited and ecstatic that I was chosen for the exchange. I think that the opportunity is one in a life time so I am amazed that I have been given this chance.

The exchange means I will have to go to school in Costa Rica and live with a host family. The main language in Costa Rica is Spanish so I have extra classes at school to help me learn Spanish. I will be in a whole new environment and be learning a completely different culture. I think that being in this type of environment will challenge me and push me to my limits but I will become much more independent and come back to New Zealand with the appreciation of how people live.

I have organised sausage sizzles and bake sales throughout my holidays and have been baby sitting since last year to help with my funding but also to prove to my parents and pairs that I am completely serious about my exchange. Throughout the whole process of my exchange I have to organise everything by myself to show my parents how bad I really want to go onto my exchange.

I have heard about Give a little through my friends that have used the site for sport events so I thought that I would give it a go. I am only asking for your help to make my dream become a reality. A little contribution will go a long way and I will be absolutely grateful for the generosity you have.
