    Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to do one final update on Nalas recovery, she is completely recovered now and fully back to her usual self.

She has put a bit of weight on, however with Duck Shooting around the corner, she will soon be as fit as a fiddle!

A huge thankyou to all who donated or shared this page, we are extremely appreciative. All money raised was put towards Nalas Veterinary & Surgery costs, and every cent helped so much.

Nala sends her love to you all & hope you are all well.

    Paws and licks xxx

Hi There. I'm so glad to hear that Nala is doing well. I was, however, a little concerned to hear you mention duck shooting. I'm not saying I wouldn't have contributed if I'd known that you supported duck shooting because Nala is still a wonderful dog who was in need. But surely the ducks have as much right to freedom from pain & suffering as dogs do. Just saying. . . maybe something to think about. xoxo

  • Final Surgery.. (fingers crossed)

      8 January 2020

Nala has been good, she has been staying reasonably active and getting into her rehabilitation - she has done a little bit of swimming and enjoying it so far. Nala is still in pain unfortunately due to the pin having to stay in her leg for longer than expected. The pin was due to be taken out 3 weeks ago, however her bone was not healing how vets expected, so needed to stay in. The bone is now healing, however the pin now obstructing the bone & is extremely uncomfortable.

Nala is getting the small surgery to finally remove the pin today!!

    Fingers crossed for no complications!

Nala is still in alot of pain, and is confused as to why she cannot run around the house.

Nala is as cuddly & sweet as ever, if not maybe more!

A long road to recovery ahead.
