Nala's Surgery

Baby Nala was hit by a car on Saturday the 19th of October outside of my Nana's house as her Owner, Brock, was working less than 50m away. The driver of the car just drove off, leaving Nala on the side of the road, crying out for help.

As a result, the car has broken Nala's femur, and caused other injuries. So far, her surgery has cost nearly $8,000, with another surgery still to come to remove the pin, plus two further rounds of xrays, medications, sedation, etc, also still to come.

Nala will need Rehabilitation, including Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, Hydrotherapy & Cryotherapy.

Brock has also taken time off work to care for Nala, which adds on top of the financial strain.

Nala means the absolute world to everyone she has met, especially Brock, and the thought of someone doing this to her is heart breaking. He understands it would have been an accident, but wonders how the person did not stop, leaving her there in so much pain.

I know that Brock will do anything for Nala and that everything will be done for her to heal & repair, but it is times like these that we need to try to help each other.
