Roger and I are taking advantage of our holiday in Fiji to take what we can to help Nativi village - the home of a close colleague
Auckland
Naomi Gasara is our beautiful Fijian health care assistant. Her village was largely destroyed by cyclone Winston, and the lives of the people there have been devastated. Roger and I are taking advantage our holiday in Fiji to visit the village and take what we can to help them rebuild their village and their lives. There is still a lot to do. In particular we will help the Kindergarten, which continues to operate in a tent.
Naomi is corresponding with her family to find out what their needs are in the community. We will use the funds to either buy things in New Zealand to take with us, or purchase them in Fiji, whichever is the most economical and practical. Any surplus cash will be donated to the community leaders to be used at their discretion. We greatly appreciate your donation to this project.
I am involved in this cause because I work with an amazing lady - Naomi Gasara. Her humility and love of her friends and family, drive me to help her help others.
