Natural strongman Worlds 2025
Lets get Jakob to World Strongman Comp, Ireland

I had been power lifting for a while and decided I would like to have a go at Strongman. For those that don’t know Strongman is where athletes compete in events that test physical strength and endurance. In the Natural League there is no performance enhancing drugs and no aids. The sport has a variety of heavy lifts, carries and walks, plus axle clean and press. The competition is held in weight classes and I compete in the U80kg. While overseas I trained and entered a couple of comps, and walked away with 1st place in both. I then returned to NZ and wanted more, so I trained to get to the next comp in Australia, which earnt me a qualifier to enter the Worlds Competition. I placed 2nd and now want to get to the next step. Obviously I did not plan this path over the last year or so, it has just happened and I am so keen to get to the Worlds and see what I can achieve.
The Worlds are being held in Ireland in August 2025, which is so close. I really need everyone’s help and support to get there. I have never been one for socials or asking for assistance but this is such an opportunity. I want to represent NZ and continue on this path and show what I love to do and do it on a world stage, I will be going over hungry to take the title of the worlds strongst natural under 80kg.
