💔 Please Support Pawandeep as She Battles for Her Life

Pawandeep, the beloved wife of my dear friend and colleague Daljit, was admitted to Auckland Hospital last Monday after experiencing sudden and severe pain. What began as a suspected kidney stone has tragically escalated into a life-threatening condition. She is now in the Intensive Care Unit, fighting for her life. Doctors discovered that the kidney stone had caused a serious infection. Since then, her health has rapidly deteriorated. On Saturday morning, she was moved to ICU, is now unable to breathe without oxygen support, has developed a lung infection, and both her kidneys have stopped functioning. She is on dialysis since 13 Oct 2025. Despite the doctors’ best efforts, the road to recovery remains uncertain.

Pawan and Daljit were married in Feb 2024 and began their life together in Auckland in Mar 2025. After waiting so long to be reunited and finally starting to build a future together, they are now facing unimaginable hardship. Because Pawandeep is on a one-year partnership-based work visa, she is not eligible for publicly funded healthcare in NZ. The cost of her care is staggering and the total hospital costs come above $100,000. Daljit is a hardworking resident who has poured everything into building a life for his family. He is now facing this financial burden alone.I have started this page to ask for your support.
