Needing your support towards my journey to Ontario Canada-World Juniors Championships

Recently I have just got back from Perth Australia after playing and representing New Zealand in two events : Australia Juniors International and Asia Pacific Trophy where I had the honour of winning and bringing back the Mixed Doubles Title and 2nd in Women's Single in the Individual event. Our team also proudly grab the trophy winning the team event undefeated.

But here I am again appealing for your generous support as I am getting ready to go to Ontario, Canada on November 2-19, 2018 to play and represent New Zealand for the World Juniors Championships. This will be a huge opportunity for me as this my first World Juniors experience, playing with the worlds' best.

It has always been an honor and priviledge for me to represent the country and play the sport that I am most passionate about. To date, this will be my 5th chance to represent the country. Last April, I also had the honor to play in Jakarta Indonesia. The first two were both in Sydney Australia , playing for the Trans-Tasman Series, wherein I also had the chance to bring home the Singles titles for two years in a row.

Currently, badminton in New Zealand receives no funding to assist players competing international events.

I am appealing therefore for your kind generousity to help my parents raise the amount needed to cover the costs of the trip. In as much as they want to give me the chance to grab this opportunity, they are just average income earners and has to work hard to raise the amount needed to finance the costs.

I have always been grateful for all your support on my previous trips and would greatly appreciate and hope that you will continue to support me in my journey. It has always been my dream to compete internationally and wear the New Zealand jersey with pride. Travelling with the team and competing with the World Juniors means the whole world to me. However, I would be needing all your support to make this dream come true. I am looking forward for your generous help for me to set foot in Ontario, and hopefully bring home the pride.
