Dana, thank you for the clarification and I totally understand it's a crazy emotional time for you. I imagine the amount raised would at least get yourself over there to help Dale out as I reckon it would help him immensely to have his mum there. Good luck with your boy.

Dana

Thats ok...when I first put this page up...my son was reading what I had posted...needless to say I had to edit this more than once ...

Hi Dana.

Sorry to hear how you have been let down by the current support system ( or lack of ) between New Zealand and Australian services.

I'd ike to offer support and an option to get Dale back to Wellington as soon as possible.

We specialise in worldwide medical escort and transfers and have a network of support and contacts to assist in these difficult circumstances. Im confident that we could obtain clearence to get Dale home soon and avoid the increasing costs of remaining in Sydney.

If you would email some contact details to info@alsmed.co.uk I would be happy to discuss options with you.

Kind regards

Jim Quinn

Sorry to hear about your beautiful son and the financial crisis this has put on the whanau.

Why have you not applied through the drivers CTP insurance.

They should be made to contribute to your sons care and warfare. 😡😡

Dana

Hi Carla thank you for your question..yes you are right he will be receiving a claim through the drivers CTP...but in the mean time it's already been 6 weeks and still have not heard anything...this can take up to 12mnths maybe more before he receives anything...so in the mean time is relying on the generosity of this lovely lady as well as others who have so kindly donated..

Really sorry to hear your son is going through this Dana, I can understand how difficult it is being in another country and not having him able to come home.

Just a question and clarification if you wouldn't mind about how the funds will be used. In the Stuff article and in the Givealittle description you mention it is for Dales living costs while he gets back on his feet. At the bottom of the page you then say that's after paying for yourself and Dales grandparents to visit, only left over funds would go to support Dale.

Please forgive me, but this almost seems a little back to front to me. Would it not be wiser to see to his living costs and doctors costs (neither which are cheap in Sydney) and then the rest for him to travel home once he gets clearance be considered as a priority before any other travel? thanks

Dana

Hi Lisa and thank you for your questio... when i first wrote this I was all over the place had never done anything like this before and still highly emotional, and had no idea what i was writing to be honest ... how ever when I tried to edit page for some reason it wont let me edit that part...as NONE of these funds will be going towards flights to get us over as I am doing my own fundraising for this...ALL proceeds will be going towards my sons living costs outgoing expenses and of course to Sandra whom my son is living with...I'm very sorry for the confusion ... thats why I tried to make it clear in that first part where the funds were going towards...Hope this clarifies this for you...
