Need support for my son

Edited for the I dont know how many times: When I started the give a little page, the goal I had set was for $5000, which has Over exceeded that amount..I felt so helpless and thought there was no possible way I could be able to support my son...but the generosity of so many is overwhelming and I can not thank YOU ALL enough xxx from Me .. to YOU xxx

A month ago my son was a pedestrian walking on the side walk, when he was tragically hit by an incompetent driver.

As we all know times are hard, and is difficult to save especially when your on yr own, the funds I had saved up was used to get myself to Sydney to be by my sons side as well as financial support while I was there.

Unfortunately due to lack of finances and my own commitments to outgoing living expenses i had to come home leaving my son in the condition he was in, to return to work.

Although he was discharged (and way to early for my liking) he is now having complications physically, emotionally and psychologically, and has had to return to the dr's on several occasions since being released due to health issues as well as continued scans, rehabilitation treatments and follow ups with specialists, and has now had to return to hospital due to complications.

Unfortunately with the current situation in Australia and through NO fault of his own, my son is NOT eligible for financial support and is not eligible for financial aid here in NZ either unless I fly him home, given with his current situation he is not able to fly due to the trauma to his head.

So to assist my son with outgoing living costs, I am humbly asking for some financial support which will go towards food, transport to and from hospital, dr's specialists etc. every day living expenses and of course more importantly Board, as the wonderful lady my son boards has not only allowed my son to continue to stay with her has also been aiding him in the way of meals, transporting him to his regular appointments and continued support during this trying time.

Any help with this cause is greatly appreciated and would like to thank each and everyone of you who have taken the time to reach out and help this certainly is very humbling your love and support means a lot to both myself and my family ... Thank You x

Please let me Clarify...When I wrote up this page I was very highly emotional and rather clueless about things like this and part of this application is the use of these funds...unfortunately I had no idea what I was writing when I first put this up and now unable to edit that part as I have absolutely NO intentions to use the funds for flights...as I already have fundraised for this ... This was just bought to my attention so sorry for any confustion...but I can not edit that part.
