Neil's Brave Fight
Looking for the spirit of Christmas to raise funds to ease the pressure for my friend and her family during an emotionally trying time.

My friends partner Neil has just been diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer. Treatment has to start immediately with an operation then daily travel from Upper Hutt to Wellington hospital for radiation for six weeks and further treatments follow this. As the main income earner this illness and treatment will obviously impact on his ability to work full time and provide for his young family.
With Christmas only weeks away and two of the young boys birthdays in the New Year, as well as back to school costs I am hoping to find some Christmas spirit out there in the world to raise funds to help ease the pressure for my friend and her family during this emotionally trying time.
My friend Dani is always the first to offer help and support to others but finds it difficult to accept help in return. I'm hoping by creating this Give a Little page it will be easier for Dani and Neil to accept support and help from those who can.

I am wanting to raise funds to help ease financial pressure for my friend Dani, partner Neil and their young family (3 boys), because of her partner being diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer. His course of treatment is starting immediately which will have a huge impact on their finances over the Christmas and new year period.
Use of funds
To help the family pay for Christmas, children's birthdays in the new year as well as start of school expenses plus any other costs related to treatment.
