Nelson’s East St restaurant fights to stay open - (NON LOCALS WANTING TO SUPPORT)

Our friends Vikki & Tejas need your help to keep East St Cafe open as long as possible!

This givealittle page has been especially set up to give NON LOCALS the opportunity to support East St through some big financial challenges they have been facing with all the rising food costs and reduction in disposable income for many (seen all over retail and hospitality businesses).

There have been a few fundraising events locally (they are so grateful for everyone's support already), as well as many changes being made to the business itself (menu/staffing levels/events) to try and increase profitability going forward. They've had A LOT of messages from people living away from Nelson wanting to support them in some way so here it is!

If East St has ever meant something to you, if you’ve celebrated a birthday there, danced under the stars in the courtyard, or just enjoyed food that blew your mind — we’d love for you to come in, share a meal, bring a friend and help us keep this dream alive. It's been such a blessing to our community for the last 14+ years to have this space available, there's no other venue like it and we want it to stay open!
