The purpose of this page is to raise funds for the making of Nemesis: A Short Film, a final project for AUT and a film festival contender.
Auckland
Hello and welcome to the official Give A Little page for Nemesis: A Short Film directed by Riley Davis and produced by Vetya Shearer. This is our final project for our Television & Screen Production major at AUT and we want to share the experience with you!
Nemesis is a short horror comedy film about Barney, a scam artist who dupes people with a spirit board as he pretends to connect with their lost loved ones. Unfortunately, Barney breaks taboo when using the board and finds himself being haunted by a malevolent spirit. With the clock ticking, Barney must try and appease the spirit before it is too late!
We would love for you to support us on our creative journey any way you can! Making a film worthy of entering into film festivals means a lot of hard work on our end, but for you it can be as easy as donating a few dollars here, providing food for our cast and crew when we’re shooting, or even being an extra!
Any ideas or contributions you have would be really appreciated so feel free to write a message on our or get in contact with Riley or Vetya personally if you have any tips, tricks or questions! Check out our Facebook page for more details https://www.facebook.com/Nemesis-A-Short-Film-205970126927658/

That's a wrap! 12 September 2018
We managed to wrap our shoot last weekend and it was a blast! A huge thank you to our very talented actors Jackson Bliss who plays our main character Barney, Reid McGowan who plays Barney's flatmate Sam.
Of course their talents would never have been captured without the relentless efforts of our dedicated crew: Riley Davis as our Director, Vetya Shearer as our Producer, Emma Orchard as our Camera Operator, Joe Curtis on Lights, Adam Cooke on Sound, Lucie Browne-Sainty as Assistant Director and Holly Chase as our Production Designer.
Also want to say thank you to the flatmates at our shooting location who put up with our endless demands for silence and for letting us invade their home.
Last but not least, thank you to everyone who has donated as you give us the opportunity to make this film the best it can be and we can't thank you enough for that! Moving forward into post-production we will still need your help to get our film into festivals and to fuel Riley as she takes on hours and hours in the edit suite. So if you can, please donate and help us in this final stretch!
