Blessing given to Nero at our local Buddhist Temple for Nero's 7th day death anniversary.
We already incurred over $7000 worth of expenses and so the funds will go towards these expenses as expected.
When tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see. The sun will rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me. I know how much you love me, as much as I love you, and each time that you think of me, I know you'll miss me too.
But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, that an angel came and called my name and petted me with her hand. I thought about our lives together, I know you must be sad, I thought of all the love we shared and all the fun we had.
So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart. For every time you think of me, I'm right there in your heart.
We cannot thank you enough for all your love and support during this difficult time on our Givealittle page. Your generosity is going to help us in a huge way for the week of medical attention that was needed to save our beautiful little man. Nero was doing so well and so close to having surgery today but he made his own decision to peacefully depart yesterday afternoon.
Nero’s CT scan report was received yesterday & we had a long discussion with the specialist surgeon.
Nero has a massive growth on the left side of his liver (>177mm W x 135mm L x 94mm H) which is occupying the majority of the space while compressing the functional part of the liver & shifting all other adjacent organs. He is currently having breathing difficulties too.
Specialist surgeon’s opinion was that It is more than likely to be benign going by the CT scan images. He also mentioned that he hasn’t seen a mass of this size for at least ten years.
Although there are some risks associated in the procedure, we had to choose the surgical option for Nero as there were no alternative options beneficial for him.
We will receive his report tomorrow. This will answer a lot of our questions, especially if he is able to go forward with surgery. He will be spending another night under care on fluid.
