Hayley's Fight to beat cancer!
Canterbury
Hi Everyone,
As most of you know our Beautiful big sister Hayley was diagnosed with Breast Cancer back in 2017! Hayley underwent months of chemotherapy, radiation and eventually surgery to have the lump in her breast removed along with some of the lymph nodes under her left arm! She dealt with that like the trooper she is with positivity and determination!
She got engaged to the man of her dreams (Nathan), they brought their first home and got married in March 2020 (Greatest day ever might we add).
A few days after their special day Hayley received news that her cancer had returned. She has since undergone 3 months of oral chemotherapy, with some awful side effects. After a short break from the oral chemo Hayley experienced some severe pain in her left arm lymphedema has caused swelling but the pain increased. Hayley was then referred for further testing. Tests revealed that Hayley's cancer had unfortunately spread to her brain and shoulder which is now incurable. She is no longer able to drive and is currently undergoing radiation treatment on both areas! She continues to fight with such strength, a positive mind and determination (she is bloody amazing to say the least).
We wanted to set up this page for Hayley and our amazing brother in law Nathan who has been her rock, by her side throughout this journey.
We are hoping to take some of the financial pressure away from them and help with any medication/treatments that might come available for Hayley.
We ask that you keep our beautiful sister in your thoughts and prayers as she continues to fight.
Thank you everyone for taking the time to read this message, we appreciate all your love and support.
Please leave your name and a message for Hayley and Nathan.
Kind Regards.
Stacey & Courtney
