15 December 2022To everyone who reached out during this difficult time, our family expresses our sincerest thanks. We may not be from this country but seeing all your messages and wishes made us realize that we are in the right place surrounded by beautiful and generous individuals. We cannot thank you enough.

Around 4:00 AM NZT, Ama has joined our Creator.
Ama lived a colorful existence and we believe that he has touched many lives. From his long years in public service up to his last few years as a private citizen.
All our lives, we have shared him with so many people, and we comfort ourselves in the thought that his last month was spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
We appreciate those who have shared our burden this past week and for offering your support and prayers.
Rest in Paradise, Ama. We love you.
