New Outdoor Play Equipment for Playgroup!
Help us raise funds for new play area equipment!

Sadly, our Playgroup had to say goodbye and remove our much loved playhouse and a seesaw due to their safety risks (e.g. severe rot and degradation, fall zone, clearance levels and barriers not meeting NZ safety requirements). Our current picnic seating is also falling apart from rot and has dangerous areas where rusted sharp nails and screws are protruding.
It is important for us to provide a safe and fun area for children to play and we are asking the community to help us raise funds for new, replacement playground equipment and a picnic table and seat.
Khandallah Playgroup is a not-for-profit, incorporated society run entirely by parent volunteers. We provide an indoor and outdoor play space for children aged under 5 years and their families to enjoy.
Use of funds
The money raised will contribute towards the purchase of playground and seating equipment including a new playhouse, springer rocker, outdoor musical play equipment, picnic table and seat.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated! We raised $1821!! This money will go towards purchasing and installing new playground equipment. Our next steps will include applying for grants to cover the remaining costs of the equipment. We hope to have new equipment ready to be installed over the summer period and can't wait to play! Many thanks again for your generosity.
