Given by 14 generous donors in around 3 months

The club requires further funds to cover the project shortfall, please donate to aid the growth and development of Squash in Christchurch.

Canterbury

After the 2011 earthquakes the Christchurch Squash Club facility was damaged such that it was uneconomic to repair or reinstate on the current site.

Through the insurance payout, sale of existing site and fundraising has made way for an amazing opportunity to build a new State of the Art facility. With this comes the opportunity to enhance squash in the Canterbury region generating participation with particular focus for youth and women squash.

Located at the Cashmere Club along Colombo Street the facility will boast features such as:

1 Climate Control

2. High tech live video streaming on court

3. Interactive squash technology

4. 8 ASB singles and 4 doubles courts

5. Glass backed courts

6. Will be 100% of the latest National Building Standard

7. Pay to Play facilities

8. On-site Manager

Our aim is to grow the club to over 800 members in the first 3 years host major National and International to Christchurch increasing the profile of this wonderful sport.

Use of funds

The monies raised through Give-A-Little will go directly to fund lounge furniture, gallery seating and electronic display and electronic equipment to enhance the squash experience for current and future squash players across the country.
