Listed are the Millenium Development Goals that were agreed by world leaders in 2000:
1) Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger.
2) Achieve universal primary education.
3) Promote gender equality and empower women.
4) Reduce child mortality.
5) Improve maternal health.
6) Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other diseases.
7) Ensure environmental sustainability.
8) Develop a global partnership for development

Hi everyone: UPDATE So we had an amazing buffet dinner fundraiser @ Manhattan Restaurant on Thursday 26th August. It created a strong foundation for our fundraising (the next day I banked $2000.00 - which is nearly half way). Unfortunately, we didn't meet our target ($5000.00) but we are still confident that donations will get us there. Since the dinner - we are now pushing for donations from our community. What ever little you can... please give - whether it be $1 or $2 it'll accumulate into a huge sum. I need $5500.00 - that is the amount P3 and the UNYANZ have asked us delegates to pay.?Therefore, we are nearly there family! Imagine the billions who need help around?the world - my voice, my ideas and?the?NZ perspective can?make a huge impact towards the traumatic and disheartening statistics we are seeing.
