New Zealand Pug Rescue

Brenda has rescued and rehomed over 50 Pugs and has been running New Zealand Pug Rescue for nearly 30 years.

Brenda takes in Pugs of any age, including those with health issues. Most are able to be placed into pre-approved new loving homes. Those that are unable to be placed because of age or health problems get to live out their lives with Brenda so on average Brenda will have 15 - 20 pugs. Rescue Pugs come from all sources e.g. Animal Control, other Animal Welfare Organisations or owners who can no longer care for their dog. Most often these pugs are elderly or have severe health issues and need medical treatment.

I have known Brenda for over 15 years and have watched her dedicate her life to pugs that others cannot care for. Brenda is Amazing and will go without so her pugs (many of which came into pug rescues care and could not be rehomed due to age or ongoing medical issues) always have the best food and vet care. I have set this page up so others can help.

Use of funds

All funds raised will go directly to Brenda and will be used for

Vet bills

Dog food

Washing liquid (everyday there is pug blankets and washing to do)

Epiotic or Otoclense for ears, or Lacri-Lube for eyes (common medical products used for pugs eyes and ears)

Veggie dents and treats for the dogs

Disinfectant cleaner

Transport costs
