NARCH INLINE CHAMPIONSHIPS

$1,160 donated

Heading to LA for the NARCH INLINE HOCKEY Championships in June with the New Zealand Mens team.

Wellington

We are heading there to compete as the New Zealand Mens team to hopefully gain the experience we need to place in the top 8 at next years World Championships.

We will then qualify for the World Roller games which is the pinnacle of our sport and something we have not achieved yet.

I have been playing since I was 7 and this team over the next few years will be the best in my lifetime that I can be involved with. I know opportunities like this don't come along often to reach the top of your sport so I am so excited to be involved and to help our team in any way I can.

We fund ourselves completely and this trip is costing around $3500 dollars each. We do this every year its not a cheap thing to do. We never complain that we are all self funded because we love what we do and it makes it so much more important knowing the struggle it is every year to just compete. A $1 here and a $1 there helps more than you can imagine.

As amateurs we compete against the best in the world, some who have played in the NHL and others in professional leagues all around the world. We can now hold our own against some top teams and I cant wait to build from this tournament and carry it through to next year!

Funding break down;

Flights $1500

Accommodation 10 days $1200

Food $40 per day. $400

Travel $250

Coaches and manager supplement $450

Uniform $200

Total $4000

I am fundraising for myself and if by any chance I gain more funds than stated I will reach out to the boys that need some help and do whatever I can to ease the stress.

I have loved this sport since I was a kid, I had the chance to play Ice hockey in Germany for 4 years and I learnt so much which I always try to give back where I can. As a player I just do my best for the boys where ever that may be, on the rink or off it my team is my family and we play because we love this game but also really enjoy the brotherhood that comes with it.

Its my absolute dream and drive for this team and this sport to become more than some see it. Its made me who I am and given me the opportunity to see the world, represent my country and make life long friends. It will end one day and I want to make the most of it while I can. Thank you for sharing this or donating it means the world to me.
