Ngā Uri o te Ahikā is a kapa haka rōpū made up of passionate rangatahi dedicated to keeping te ao Māori alive through song, haka and wairua. This year, we’re taking our very first national kapa haka tour across Aotearoa, connecting with kura, marae, whānau and iwi to inspire the next generation.
We’re a small, self-funded group with a big vision: to uplift our people, celebrate our culture and show our youth that their reo, their identity and their fire matters. Every koha helps us cover travel, accommodation, kai, uniforms and performance gear.
Your support will help us carry the flame of our ancestors and light it in the hearts of our rangatahi.
