Ngahuia Wild Bird Rescue

I have been raising wild birds for the past five years and now I have gained knowledge and confidence would like to assist Wellington Zoo with there young natives. This is a great honor and a dream of mine, but this is a voluntary thing and I need to do so some fundraising for a shed to house the orphans and for a large flight aviary once the birds are learning to fly and prior to release. There are also numerous other items that I will need to purchase such as a brooder, feeding equipment etc.

I am very passionate about our native birds we have here in New Zealand and feel very blessed that I will be able to help with their rehabilitation and release back to the wild.
