Nicky wrote a book
Help me print my Picture book so I can sell them to raise money for Sweet Louise! Please give a little so I can give back a little too.

I have written and illustrated a book in the hope of raising some money for the charity Sweet Louise. However printing books is pricey even when it's for a good cause. I have found a printing company that will do 50 copies for around $300.
If I can get enough money to print the books then all of my book proceeds can go directly to Sweet Louise. I hope to sell each for $20 and raise $1000 to donate. $300 is the aim not the limit so if I can raise even more that means I can print more books!
My book is about Kipp, a young boy with a wild imagination. He turns an everyday routine into a exciting adventure. From toothpaste wars, to conquering clothes mountains, Kipp comes up with creative excuses not to go to school. Sometimes a quick break from reality is what he needs to keep going.

Unfortunately cancer has been quite a prominent aspect of my life and helping from the sidelines as a supporter still feels hopeless at the best of times. Doctors, treatments, and appointments take over - and all you can do is keep cheering from the outside looking in. It's just easier to concentrate on fundraising for a cure, in the hope that it will be in time.
But then it comes down to quality vs. quantity of life, and sometimes treatments don't work as planned.
Sweet Louise is a charity for lives affected by secondary Breast Cancer. They have been absolutely amazing, providing us with drivers for appointments, outings, events and positive vibes all round. They have helped AJ, the well known queen of our household and a massive role model in my life who has always inspired me to do something more with my artwork.
I really want to give back to a charity that concentrates on making the most of every precious moment right now instead of the distant future.
