Cancer sucks, and Nicole needs to come home to TK so we can provide the support she needs as she fights for her life.

In 2015 Nicole was diagnosed with breast cancer. One masectomy and a whole bunch of chemotherapy later, Nicole was declared cancer free!

This diagnosis came not long after Nicole moved away from a well established network of support in Te Kauwhata to milk cows in Te Awamutu. While we missed her, it was incredible to watch Nicole find her place in the world - amongst the cows!

Recently Nicole, now living in Pirongia, began experiencing major back pain. Unfortunately the cancer has come back, and has spread to her spine and liver. Nicole is now preparing to undergo some aggressive chemotherapy and targeted radiation to help give her some precious extra time with her only daughter, Yzabel (11) and husband John.

I have set up this page to do two things:

1) Help raise funds to move Nicole, John, and Yzabel back to Te Kauwhata, to be closer to their support network.

2) To help the family out by providing them with a little extra to make some memories together. For Yzabel to have some good times with her Mum to look back on.

I am Nicole's friend, past neighbour, and support person. I have known Nicole for over 10 years, and been part of Yzabel's since the early days.
