I am heading to Uganda, Africa to take part in a volunteer medical program through IVHQ for two and a half months.

Canterbury

In October I am very excited to be going to Uganda to take part in a volunteer medical program. This is something I have always wanted to do and can't believe it is actually happening! I will be starting on October 2nd for two and a half months.

The overall aim of the project I am participating in is to improve access to quality healthcare and I will be placed in clinics/medical centres that are very low on resources and staff. As well as these clinics, I will also have the opportunity to participate in community and outreach programs.

Any support will be absolutely greatly appreciated, you are helping me to make a difference in the world!

Use of funds

The money raised will help me towards funding flights, vaccinations, visa, travel insurance, food and accommodation while I volunteer for two and half months.
