Thank you so much for all your support. We so appreciate all your donations. The money is helping support Nina and her family through this very difficult time. Once Nina is medically stable she will be transferred to ABI Rehabilitation Centre in Auckland for the next part of her recovery. Please share so we can continue to support Nina and her family through the journey ahead.

The message below is from Nina's Mum Catherine

"Nina is still in Waikato Hospital, but now on the ward. We are grateful that she is no longer in a coma, her trachea tube has been removed and she is breathing completely on her own!

She is at a stage they call "emerging consciousness", where she 'responds to commands' some of the time, and is moving her body (at times controlled and purposeful). She is still non-verbal and completely dependent on 24 hour care.

Our family is full of gratitude for the ongoing love and support from you all, for our beautiful Nina.

    Arohanui, Catherine."
