Nina Blackburn is currently embarking on a journey with breast cancer. She will soon undergo surgery and reconstruction and faces funding the costs of loss of income during her surgery and recovery time.

Nina is well known in the cake decorating community. She is admin for the NZ Cake and cookie exchange Facebook page and is a staunch advocate for sharing her love of cake with NZ and the world. She frequently offers advice to beginners through this Facebook group, giving freely of her advice to help beginners with their dream cake. Many cake decorating students around the world have benefitted from Nina's awesome teaching style.

Nina has the biggest heart and is always first in line to help others in need.

Cancer is tough. With our support, we can help make things a little easier for her and her two kids (Dylan 15 and Genevieve 10)

My name is Sandra Boston, Nina and I have been friends for longer than I remember. We bonded over cake decorating but a deeper friendship bloomed. I am committed to ensuring Nina's personal and financial needs are met during this difficult time

Use of funds

Funds will be used to meet accomodation and food costs for Nina and her 2 kids. Excess funds will be used to support the children in activities for family bonding .
