No heart loves like that of a faithful old friend who wants a bit more time

My name is Skyla, Mom adopted me when I was only a wee pup. Mom met dad and we all became best friends right away!

We have been on many adventures and made memories for my whole 11years and 4 months of life!

I am not ready to go, I still have so much love to give!

Mom took me to the vet because I have been limping and a bit sore getting up in the morning. The Vet said i have an enlarged heart (like a reverse D shape) - I thought mom would be happy since that shows all the love I have given and taken.

My Hip is also in bad shape, needing surgery. Mom and dad don't want to do a full hip replacement with the recovery really long and hard on me, so want to do a gentler option - a femoral head osteotomy.

My Trachea has also started to collapsed, makes sense since it has been getting harder to breath. Not sure what that's about. The Vet wants to run more tests..

Mommy and daddy want the best for me, I can see it in their eyes and feel it in their cuddles. Unfortunately they have spent what little savings they had on buying our very first forever home! That and vet visits, Xray's, Medication to make sure I feel a bit better.

I want to live, love that little bit longer.. any help would go such a long way and would be greatly appreciated.
