Noah's Brave Leukemia Fight. Fighting leukemia with the goal to have a life saving bone marrow transplant.
Auckland
Noah was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in April 2014 at just 2 years old. He has endured over 12 months of chemotherapy since then and was doing really well until he relapsed. He is now facing even more chemotherapy with the goal of receiving a life saving bone marrow transplant. The next 5 weeks are critical for Noah and he must remain in Starship hospital throughout the treatment. He is possibly going to get very sick from this. There is scope to go to Germany for a potential new treatment should this treatment not achieve the desired results but we are all hoping these few weeks of chemo will lead to the life saving bone marrow transplant that he really needs. This little boy and his family have been through so much this past year and have now just been hit again by the relapse and how cruel this disease has suddenly become on their little boy.
Any donations made will assist in relieving financial stress on a family that is now divided between a loving home in Tauranga and a sterile hospital room. God forbid it reaches the point where we need to get this little fighter to Germany for treatment, then any donations will help tremendously in getting him there.
This cause is for an incredible little boy who has been through more suffering the past year than most people go through in a lifetime.
I have known the Sommer Family for a number of years now and they are my extended family. This donation page has been made to give back to a family who are so loving and caring. They have done so much for everyone around them over the years, so now I want to give back to them. Raising a family and running a business is hard enough in itself without the added stress of having your son fighting for his life. They are my family and I can't just sit back as their world is torn apart by such a life threatening disease.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated and go directly to Noah and his family. I cannot express my gratitude enough for any donations that are made to Noah.
There is a video of Noah's past year before he relapsed.

Noah and his family have just taken the next step in his treatment... He has just undergone a bone marrow transplant in Germany. The past couple of weeks have been up and down with fevers and now we are just waiting to see if the transplant has worked and Noah is producing white blood cells.
