    I am sorry this has not been sent earlier but as all of you know dad lost his battle and passed in May 21st.

    Than, Liana and I would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your generous donations and kind wishes. The money was used to pay his medical bills and the treatment at the time allowed us to get him to Qui Nhon where he was so much happier to be in his own home surrounded by his Vietnamese family. Again thankyou so much for your support.

  • Sadly dad lost his battle 21 May 21

    Sadly Dad’s body gave up after a long fight yesterday 21st May 21.

    Thankyou for your kind messages and financial support. Dad had the last weeks in his home he built with Than and was a lot happier than in hospital.

    The family will always be deeply grateful for your help.

  • URGENTLY NEED TO GET OUR DAD BACK TO NZ

    Due to dad's current condition we have been advised by the doctor to get dad back to New Zealand as soon as possible for treatment.

    Dad's treatment has not been successful and he is at risk of being completely bedridden or the possible cancer spreading. He has lost a lot of weight and muscle and currently 55kilos. We have already exhausted our funds with the private hospital and need to raise money urgently to get him home to receive treatment and rehabilitation.

  • Update on Noel

    HI Everyone

    Dad has recovered from a infection and spent some days in ICU which he has thankfully recovered from. Due to dads health we have finished the radiation his body cannot cope with anymore as he very thin and losing muscle mass. We have moved him to another hospital under Dr Demi who studied in auckland and she has a strong plan to work on dads nutrition and mobility with the Goal of getting him back to Qui Nhon.

    Thankyou so much for your continued support your donations are really helping us financially cover the costs of dads treatment and recovery.

  • Noel Update

    Hi Everyone

    Thankyou for your support Dad is currently in ICU fighting an infection but has improved in the last couple of days.

    The radiation has been stopped now and we are working on his mobility and nutrition over the next few months as he is only about 52 kilos.

    Thankyou again your contribution is paying for the hospital bills to help dad beat this cancer.

  • Noel’s Treatment update

      9 March 2021

    Dad is currently in hospital now as he was unable to keep food and water down. He completed a treatment yesterday of radiation but he is dealing with a lot of confusion.

    We may need to look at bringing him back to New Zealand but will let everyone know if that happens.
