My partner Shane and I live in his beautiful campervan and on Tuesday April 14 our home, along with all our possessions, burned to the ground. It took two firetrucks to put out the inferno and nothing was salvageable from the fire. We now have no clothes, no shoes, nothing to cook with, no groceries, and nowhere to sleep at night. We also lost all of our hunting, fishing, and camping equipment which has taken my partner years to accumulate. There is still finance owing on the campervan but unfortunately we did not have insurance due to the financial pressures of the current times.
We know the COVID-19 lockdown has been hard for everyone, but now we have nothing and nowhere to live in this time of need. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and would be used to help us stay safe during this lockdown and begin to restart our lives afterwards.
The funds will be used immediately for shelter, food, and clothes, as well as to pay off the finance owing on the campervan.
