NUGGET NEEDS YOUR HELP!

Today 11/3/2021 nugget was hit by a car in Hataitai, Wellington. My partner came across this helpless ginger boy and rushed him to the SPCA who took him in and started to assess him. My partner has a big soft spot for animals so this was a bit upsetting and he hoped the little guy would pull through.

I decided to get onto social media to try my hardest to find his owner and we did it so thank you! We have been updated by the owner about Nuggets vet situation.

Nugget sustained some bad injuries, a lot of fluid in his lungs hence the gasping noises he made in the car on the way to the SPCA (quite frightening) and he has fractured his jaw. He has been with SPCA all of today and will need to stay overnight, so already the vet bill is upwards of $500. I want to take some of the stress away for nuggets owner as its not easy paying hefty bills like this out of the blue that we have to do for family.

There is potential for surgery for Nugget too and that's where cost goes from being manageable to very stressful in minutes.
